Today we went to Cancun, Mexico. We couldn't access our Blog site last few races, so we have no recent posts. Sorry!
Since it's been a while since we actually had the last race: I am going to vaguely sum up our experience.
Expedia was being mean to us AGAIN and we couldn't print off our flight until every other team had finished printing theirs off! We felt very stressed out about this, on top of all the other ridiculous stress!
Oh, and did I mention this was the last FINAL race?! Well it was! everyone was freaking out and tention was insanely high. Alot of teams said they didn't even want to move on anyways, but everyone was still very moody.
When the race finally ended, we had found out we came in second (by seconds!) behind Team Taurus Cancer. We then found out we had come in third overall, and Team Insert Name Here came first!
May the best team come in third. :D

The Amazing Race!
Today we travelled from Kenya to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. The flight being the first question.
For the second question, we were faced with a fast forward! We had to place every single African country on a map. We magaed to finish that quickly, but not get the fast forward.
We moved onto the 3rd, which was a REALLY simple question asking what desert was partly located in Morocco. That was really easy & we didn't even need to Google it!
The 4th question had 2 part. The first part was a game, the second part was going outside to build a sandcastle. This was all really easy, too, then we went back inside to do number 5. "What is the most common name in the world?" After Googling it, we figured it out!
We had to skip #7 do to technical difficulties, so we did #8.
NUMBER 8 WAS HARD! We hasd to dig in the sandbox, REALLY deep to find a bag of chocolates. There was 1 bag full of "gold" & the gold would have SO many hours taken off. We were the 1st team to start digging and the 3rd of 4th team to find chocolates. WELL WE FOUND THE GOLD!!!
We rushed inside, found a picture of the Octagone Hotel, then finished! :D

The Amazing Race.

Today's amazing race was very different. The first question was still in New Zealand, then the 2nd was our flight to Kenya! Being in kenya gave us alot of oppertunities to get further up in the race rankings, but it took ALOT of the teamwork for one question!
The 3rd question was asking us to find all five animals in the Big Five. that was really easy for us! Then for question 4, we had a detour. Fly or drive? We chose to fly! We completed the game (I'd post a link, but I can't remember the web address)after a few million (not literally...) attempts. The 5th question was getting you to watch a YoutTube video. The question was asking you what the sport the people in the video played and what the song & artist used was. Well I (Kass) knew the song and artist ("Beautiful Day" by U2) so it was relatively easy.
OH JUST BY THE WAY KASS MESSED THE ORDER OF EVERYTHING UP AND DON'T GO OFF THIS BECAUSE WELL OOPS IT'S NOT IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER.
Anyways, there was also a chance (question 7, I think) so if you got numbers 1, 2 or 3 on the dice -you had 2 hours added on; if you got 4, 5 or 6 -you had 2 hours taken off. We got really lucky and had 2 hours taken off!
For question 8, we had to run 5 laps of the school yard. This was 1000 metres or 1 kilometre. Damon, Hannah and I managed to run the entire thing (and beat one team that started before us!)
After that was the last question. Question 9. It was really simple! Print off a picture of Mara Serena Safari Lodge, give it to the teacher & you were done!
We managed to finsh just SECONDS before the bell rang, and we came in 5th (it's becoming a bit of a trend haha)!

The Amazing Race

We successfully finished today's race! Today we went to New Zealand, after leaving China. The race started off so easy. We flew through questions 1 to 6 with ease, but question 7 was really hard! The YouTube videos almost NEVER work and National Geographic is pretty stubborn, too, so we Googled the answer. We must've went up to the teacher 100 times before actually getting it right! When we did get it right, we had a roadblock. In the roadblock, we had to make tiny action figure animals go land diving. After 3 tries, we made the hippo land dive perfectly! Question 9 was just as easy as the first 6, and as soon as we knew it -the teacher was telling us to go onto our blog site!

I can't remember if we did post anything on Friday (our lst Amazing Race date) but we came in 5th. We are tied with team Taurus Cancer. The race was fairly easy. We had to climb a mountain by mulltiplying some funky numbers. There was also a crossword puzzle that we were supposed to only find 10 words, but we found all 24! For most of the race, up to that question, we were right behind the first team (team Insert Name Here) in fininshing the questions. And we made it onto the 1st bus. there was a yield. We didn't get yielded, but we yielded team All Stars of Converse.

The Amazing Race
So wefinished this race to Nepal in fairly good time! There was a yield and we yielded another team, but we didn't get yielded! It was a fairly easy race, but the YouTube video didn't work (as always). Either way it's all good~
